A short read, a source you can check and a way back to the conversation.
Find the episode you heard
Browse by show or search for an episode, person or subject. A companion covers selected points from an episode; it is not a transcript or a replacement for listening.

Follow one thread
A thread is one point worth exploring. It puts a short account of what was said beside our own sourced context. Follow the citations to inspect the evidence, and read the status and any qualifications before drawing a conclusion.
The reads are prepared and reviewed by AI agents. They can contain mistakes. Our standards explain the method and its limits; Contact provides a route to report a problem.
Return to the moment
Use the listening links beside a thread, chapter or quotation. Where the platform and recording support it, the link starts at the recorded time. Otherwise it opens the official episode. The edition note tells you which recording the times refer to.
On episodes with moment search, a word search finds approximate audio locations. It does not show transcript text. Listen to the surrounding conversation to check the context.
Keep a read for later
Choose Save on an episode, then open Saved to find it again. Saves belong to this browser and do not sync across devices. When an offline copy is ready, the Saved page says so; the audio and video still need an internet connection.
Search and saving need JavaScript. The episode pages, sources and browsing links remain available without it.

Follow new reads
Use an RSS reader to subscribe to the whole collection or a show's feed. Copy the feed link into your reader's add-feed option. The site feed follows new reading companions, and show pages offer a feed for their covered episodes.
Topic pages also have feeds where reads are tagged directly with that topic. A broad topic's feed does not automatically include every subtopic.
